Meet Mo Rose
Founder of Opal Rose Beauty

With 24 years behind the chair, my work brings together technical expertise, fashion-forward artistry, and a thoughtful approach to beauty.

Trained by Pivot Point, my career has taken me through respected salons, fashion and editorial work, runway shows, and couture photography. My time at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicagoland was especially meaningful. Working with clients experiencing hair loss taught me that beauty is about so much more than hair. It’s about confidence, compassion, and feeling seen.

Continued education has always been key to the growth of my skills, including specialized training with DreamCatchers Hair Extensions and Jon Renau. Today, I offer an individualized experience through mobile appointments, on-site services, and private studio sessions.

Outside of my work, I share life with my husband of 15 years and our two adventure cats, Bamboo and Pistachio.

My faith is at the heart of how I approach my craft, reminding me to lead with kindness, love, and understanding. It’s also at the heart of why I created Opal Rose Beauty, a business rooted in those same values.

Beauty with Purpose

Opal Rose Beauty believes beauty is about more than how you look. It can restore confidence, offer dignity during difficult seasons, and remind someone that they matter.

Creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and cared for is at the heart of Opal Rose.

Community has always been important to me. Throughout my career, I’ve used my time, talents, and resources to support people and organizations that matter to me.

Opal Rose Beauty will carry that tradition forward through donated services and an annual giving initiative. Each year, complimentary wigs and hairpieces will be provided to women experiencing medically related hair loss who may not otherwise have access to them.

It’s one way Opal Rose can use beauty to make a meaningful difference.
